This is what my granddaughter wrote tonight. So an *update* on Luis. We haven't posted anything yet because we haven't had a definite answer. At first they were just thinking this was Chronic myeloid leukemia (which is the less severe). They sent away one test and we have been waiting for the results. They still did a biopsy on his neck because his lump wasn't going down. We went for a doctors appointment today and it turns out that Luis does have the more severe leukemia. The acute myeloid leukemia. This has been very hard news to deal with. Luis will most likely have to have chemotherapy to treat this in the beginning and then move to the pills at a later time. With that said, if anyone can help out in ANY way it would be greatly appreciated. Our hospital bills are going to be outrageous and we will have to travel back and forth to Hershey medical and still keep up with all of our regular expenses. It may look like we already have a lot but this is going to be a long road and Luis will be out of work for quite some time. Also, if you have any resources of places we can reach out to that would be great too. The biggest thing we ask for right now is PRAYER. Please pray for us. This is going to be an extremely hard time. Thanks so much in advance we appreciate all the support and prayers that everyone has already given us. If you could please share this post that would also be greatly appreciated. ❤

This is Luis, two of my great-grandchildren's father and my granddaughter's fiancée, If anyone could spare a few dollars it sure would help them. Prayers also. Both Luis and Andrea were working full-time till Luis was diagnosed with leukemia this past Friday. My granddaughter is going back to work today. Luis seemed to be very healthy till this past Friday when he was admitted to Penn Medicine General Hospital. Luis has insurance from his job, but it sure won't cover what is going on with him now. Thanks in advance for any support. Some of you might remember Luis from working at my pizza stand in the past. Luis did help me make pizza doughs on Sunday's also.

My Mother fell two times in the afternoon Friday and early Saturday morning. Was taken into the ER this morning. Have to go to the Orthopedic Doctor tomorrow and her Hypertension and Kidney Specialist Wednesday. Mom will probably need surgery because her elbow is badly broken. Sorry Norma's Pizza will have to be closed Tuesday the 4th of December because of the doctors appointments. You don't have to post anything.

This is a photo from last week at the Caputo Booth. Had the honor of working with different great pizza making women. Don't have the other photo right now. Was a treat to work with such talented women making pizzas. Was for "Women's Power Hour" and was done 2 two different days.

If anyone saw the paper plate sign that was at market last Tuesday thought I would be coming back to market tomorrow to make a limited amount of pizzas, till I saw how the body handled working at the stand. I caught a head cold last Thursday while at the Caputo Cup in Atlantic City. Decided today not to make dough and go to market because am not sure if the cold will still be there or not with the nose running. Sorry for any inconvenience. Surgeon said I can go back to making pizzas.
